2016 Dorm Housing Info

Dorm suites at Rutgers University typically contain beds, shared bathrooms, and a common sitting area.

Dorm rooms within the suites for 2016 are available in two varieties:

  • Double-occupancy rooms have 2 (TWO) people per bedroom, in their own bed, within a 2-bedroom suite. The two bedrooms, (up to 4 people) will share a single bathroom withinthe suite.
  • Single-occupancy rooms have 1 (ONE) person per bedroom, within a 2 bedroom suite. The two bedrooms (up to 2 people) will share a single bathroom within the suite.

Each occupant will be provided with linens including:

  • A top and bottom sheet.
  • A blanket.
  • A pillow, and pillowcase.
  • A face cloth, hand towel, and bath towel.
  • Toilet paper, facial tissue, and disposal
  • cups will be provided in the bathroom

Each suite includes a sitting area, a microwave/refrigerator combo, and parking at Parking Lot 51.

When you register, select the dates of arrival and departure. The default dates are: arrival on Wednesday afternoon/evening June 22, with departure Saturday or early afternoon June 25 - a stay on Wednesday afternno/evening, June 22, with departure Saturday morning or early afternoon June 25 - a stay of 3 (THREE) nights. There is no option to stay after Saturday afternoon.

Note: Please be considerate of your fellow attendees by keeping your personal items to a minimum, and in clearly marked bags.

Registration deadlines:

  • Before 11:59 PM EDT Tuesday May 31 to ensure receipt of a Polo shirt in your size (one included for general attendees and sponsors) or a T-shirt in your size (one included for student attendees).
  • Before 11:59 PM EDT Tuesday May 31 to reserve a dorm room.
  • Walk-in registration and payment will be accepted onsite, but... not for dorm rooms, nor with any guarantee of a Polo shirt or T-shirt.

Any submissions after those deadlines may, or may not, be processed.
